The original second edition of the Book was simply copied to the web site and then, in December 1998, author and researcher Karl Loren started the process of a very extensive revision of the Book. That project is ongoing as of today. Karl expects that the "Book," now in this electronic edition, the Third Edition, will be growing in size on a constant basis as he adds material to it and revises it. The eventual size, including all the pages of references, is expected to exceed 2,000 pages. |

The viewer, however, has an amazing freedom in how to read this Book. Chapter One, for instance, prints out at about two pages. There are another two pages of footnotes which, of course, you could skip and still get the main thrust of the Chapter. However, if something in the Chapter seems to call for further explanation, you may well find that explanation within the two pages of footnotes. Chapter One is also linked to more than fifty pages (!) of supplemental material which supports and expands on the two pages in Chapter One.
So, a viewer who wants to research this subject of death, premature death, from heart disease, can study in depth, while the person who is simply looking for some quick data can scan through the Chapters quickly -- or even skip around amongst them.
Each page in the Book has two different navigation bars. The first is at the top of every page and includes links to each of the twenty five Chapters in the Book:
Every page also carries the blue colored Navigation Menu for this Book site and the yellow colored Navigation Menu for the Vibrant Life web site. Finally, every page includes a form for sending a message to Karl Loren, with the assurance that he answers, personally, every personal message he receives -- usually within a few hours.
There is an Excite Search Feature on this entire web site. EVERY WORD (except for the small words) is indexed -- with a new index prepared every time there have been major revisions. You can find any subject on this web site through the search engine.
The Table of Contents feature is also very powerful. Every page has a position in that TOC. This web site is actually divided into three different sections. One section is the Book itself. Another section is the data made reference to within the Book. The third section is a collection of articles written by Karl Loren and mentioned in the Book. EACH of these three sections has its own Table Of Contents. Each of those TOCs can be accessed from the blue navigation menu which is on every page on this whole site.
This web site, and the web site for Vibrant Life, are constantly changing as webmaster Karl Loren spends more than 20 hours per week, currently, on research and writing for these web sites.
