This is the fascinating story about homeopathy, or how a little goes a
long way! Traditional thinking is often governed by the concept that If Some Is good, Why Then, MORE MUST BE BETTER! How many of us are like me? I take lots of vitamins. I usually approach my vitamin taking with the theory that if 1,000 milligrams of Vitamin C is good for you, why then it is probably better to take 5,000 milligrams of Vitamin C. |
In fact, I take about 75 tablets and capsules of vitamins and minerals per day - more has always seemed better to me.
But, that's not always true, and this is the issue of Viewpoint which explores that concept in general, and homeopathy in particular.
Then, I'll end up with some fascinating research results which seem to show that less is better, at least in the cases researched.
Finally, I'll present what I think is the Primary Lie we suffer from in health care.
HOMEOPATHY
![]() |
Here are some basic definitions from a typical dictionary.
ho·me·op·a·thy (ho´mê-òp¹e-thê) noun |
HOMEO- = Indicates like or similar; from Greek homoio-from homolos, similar, from homos, same.
PATHY- = Indicates 1. Feeling: perception; for example telepathy. 2. Medicine
A) Disease: a diseased condition; for example, neuropathy. B) A System of
treating disease; for example homeopathy. ![]()
ALLOPATHY
al·lop·a·thy (e-lòp¹e-thê) noun
A method of treating disease with remedies that produce effects different from those
caused by the disease itself.
[German Allopathie : Greek allos, other. See allo- + Greek patheia,
suffering. See -pathy.]
al´lo·path¹ic (àl´e-pàth¹îk) adjective
al´lo·path¹i·cal·ly adverb
ALLO- = Indicates divergence, opposition, or difference. Greek, other altered, from allow, other.
APPLICATION OF CONCEPTS
Fascinating, isn't it, when you try to wrap your wits around these concepts. They are BOTH wrong, as you'll see at the end of this Viewpoint.
The allopath gives you a drug which, in the case of a headache, would cause the effect of a deadening of the pain. That would be an effect different from the symptom being treated. Allopaths do not treat causes, only symptoms.
The homeopath would find out that, in a well person, substance X causes a headache. He then takes a very dilute quantity of substance X, gives it to the person with this very particular same type of headache, and expects the headache to disappear.
Homeopathy treats a disease with a substance which, in larger doses, causes the same symptoms of that disease.
Allopathy treats a disease with a substance which, in any dose, causes a different effect from the symptom being treated. The remainder of the homeopathic concept was simple: That the body's own healing mechanism would be triggered by the very dilute substance, and take over the healing process.
When theoretical basis for treatment was scarce, as it was for many centuries before modem laboratories, the most important skill in medicine was the power to observe.
The patient has symptom ZZ, and the physician notes that administering substance YY to that person seems to be associated with the symptom disappearing. The question of whether it "disappeared" because it is "gone" or because it is submerged?? That question is a much harder one to answer!
He tries that same substance many times, in other persons who have the
same symptoms. He notes that, every time, the symptoms go away. When it seems not to
"work," he discovers that there was some subtlety to the symptoms not originally
observed. Improvement in this system consists of more and more detailed, and accurate,
descriptions of the symptoms. ![]()
He propounds a new theory, or even a law, that Substance YY CURES symptom ZZ.
And, so medical textbooks are written.

The word homeopathy is new, but
the principle is not. The father of all medicine, Hippocrates, in the fourth century BC, referred to this principle as the Law Of Similars. This Law Of Similars is also the technology behind vaccines commonly accepted today by allopathic physicians. |
There is such a disease as smallpox, apparently caused by a virus. When
you take a very weakened (but still living) form of the smallpox virus and inject it into
a healthy person, that person will then develop very mild symptoms of smallpox. More
importantly, the body's immune system engages immediately, and because the viruses which
were injected were very weak, the body's immune system has no problem handling them. In
the process, the immune system "learns" about this smallpox virus so that the
next time any appear within the system the body's immune system doesn't take long, at all,
to handle them. Thus, the body is instantly ready to handle smallpox, and if some of those
viruses DO get into the body, they are handled quickly. The body is said to have built up
immunity. The process was homeopathic, even though allopathic physicians might not like to
admit it.
You can see, at least in theory, that if we knew all the different substances which would trigger the body's own immune system, or healing, BEFORE the disease is serious, then homeopathy remedies could possibly help prevent a wide range of health problems.
A further explanation along this line was offered to me by Hans Rex of Australia after he had read this article.
Dr. W. Heisenberg explained why a remedy in very high dilution (well past a number with dozens of zeros after it) would be more "powerful" than a remedy of lower dilution. He stated that: "it is the vibratory energy of the remedy which is shaken free of the atomic confines of the substance and imprinted on the sub atomic strata of the carrier substance." The carrier substance is usually water and alcohol.
I do not pretend to understand the above paragraph. That is my only problem with homeopathy: There is no disagreement that these "effects" are real, but the explanations go beyond my understanding of simple physics. There is certainly something here that needs further research and explanation.
Back 200 years ago, Dr. Hahnemann invented the term homeopathy.
It is more accurately defined in older dictionaries than it is
in modern dictionaries:
A system of medicine formulated by Hahnemann
(1755-1843). It is founded on the principle that "like cures like," and
therefore prescribes, usually in minute doses, such remedial agents as would produce in
health symptoms similar to those manifested in the disease to be treated. ![]()
HOMEOPATHY IS WIDESPREAD
Homeopathy is a low-cost, nontoxic system of medicine used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide. It is particularly effective in treating chronic illnesses that fail to respond to conventional treatment, and is also a superb method of self-care of minor conditions such as the common cold and flu.
There are about 3,000 homeopathy physicians in the United States, approximately 6,000 in Germany and 5,000 in France.
| I once visited a homeopathic remedy production facility in Belgium. I actually spent some hours there, with the owner taking me on the tour. They spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on the air filtration system, making it the cleanest production facility you can imagine. The air, over each "work bench," was designed to flow through the work space and up into a vent and then to the outside. There was no chance that any particle from one substance could contaminate some other substance being prepared in the large room, at a different work station. |
|
I was amazed to learn that doctors in Belgium, and Europe, write out "prescriptions" which are not for toxic drugs, but for custom-designed combinations of homeopathic ingredients. These homeopathic laboratories "manufacture" hundreds of different combinations every day, shipping them by overnight courier to the doctor for immediate administration to the patient.
Another principle of homeopathy is the Law of the Infinitesimal Dose - the smaller the dose, the more powerful it is!
Now, let's see about how those preparations are made.
![]() |
Let's start with a glass of "pure arsenic" whatever that might
be! Don't worry about the form or "purity" of the beginning substance, for this
simple explanation. Then, to that single glass full of arsenic, in a large container, add nine similar glasses of pure water. You now have ten glasses, total, of the mixture, and you could say that the arsenic is now diluted by a ratio of one to ten. Another way of describing this would be to call this mixture a "1X" (one X) mixture - meaning that it has been diluted ONE time, by a factor of 10. |
Now, take one glass of that mixture and mix it with nine more glasses of pure water. In this resulting mixture, you obviously now have one part of arsenic and ninety-nine parts of pure water.
That would be a 2X mixture. The mixture would have to be shaked
vigorously. ![]()
Now, take one glass of that mixture, and mix it with nine glasses of pure water. You now have one part of arsenic and 999 parts of pure water, or one part of arsenic out of 1,000 total parts. This would be called a 3X mixture.
A mixture referred to as 12X would be one part of arsenic to one trillion parts of water. Would you think that arsenic could cause ANY effect at that level of dilution?
If the mixture were 15X, there would be one part of arsenic to FOUR QUADRILLION parts of water. At this point you start wondering about what the total number of molecules of arsenic there were in that original glass!!
What happens at 2OX?
How about 24X?
You begin to see that if you have a 10X mixture, it must be diluted very much. A bit of figuring would show that when the mixture gets to 24X, the amount of the original material would be so small that not even ONE MOLECULE of that substance would, theoretically, remain!
Yet, it is well proven, and accepted, that a substance diluted as much as 24X can still cause a measurable effect. With ordinary chemical analysis, this very dilute substance would come up as pure water only - nothing else to be detected.
When a foreign substance, like a bacteria or virus, gets into the body the body can recognize the presence of that foreign substance and manufacture antibodies to fight the foreign substance. That is the way the immune system works.
When a particular type of antibody encounters a certain type of white
blood cell, it causes that white blood cell to release a particular hormone, called
histamine.
This is an overly simple explanation, but is the basis for a
set of research experiments done by several years ago Dr. Jacques Benveniste of the
University of Paris. The results of his research were suppressed for many years until
finally a very prestigious Journal, Nature, published his findings
in an issued dated June 30, 1988.
The results astounded the scientific community. The results showed that even after some substance was diluted 120 times, there was still enough of that substance to cause an effect.
One possible explanation for this is described in a book, A1ternative
Medicine.
This finding was so controversial that many critics then asserted that the research was faulty.
Hard to believe?
"Regular" doctors, such as allopathic doctors, just tell you that this 24X stuff is a fraud.
If you have never had any homeopathic treatment, you'll probably regard all this as hogwash!
![]() |
Yet, if you were one of millions of people for whom the ONLY form of
treatment is homeopathy, you wouldn't even raise an eyebrow of doubt to the homeopathic
treatment. You would, if you were one of those many millions of Chinese, Indians or others whose only treatments are homeopathic, gaze in horror at so-called modem American medicine which treats all disease with a proven toxic substance (all drugs are generally toxins), often in very large doses. |
Oh, by the way, the substances used to make homeopathy remedies are often not at all toxic even when taken in undiluted form! You might start out with the root of some herb -- take a pound of fresh root, soak it in distilled water for a week, throw away the root, keep the water and START with that as 100% pure. Then, take a cup of THAT water and add it to 9 cups of pure distilled water. You now have that well-known 1X dilution (but remember that you STARTED with water that had only a bit of dissolved stuff in it). You continue doing this until you get 24X dilution. Even when you started, the 100% "undiluted" herb water, you could have drunk it safely. Now, homeopathy claims, you can take that same "water," dilute it millions of times, and THIS water will now cause some effect in the body! ???
For two philosophies of medicine to exist, side by side, and be so diametrically opposite, you would have to wonder!
Let's look at some history of these two opposing philosophies of medicine.
A few weeks earlier than when I first wrote this issue of Viewpoint I was in New York, giving a speech to the New York State Natural Food Associates. The convention was held at a beautiful Lake Williams Resort. On my last day I moved to an even more luxurious lake resort, the Mohonk Mountain House, in New Paltz, New York.
The Mohonk Mountain House is a 250 room Victorian Stone Castle, complete with turrets and set in the midst of 6,000 acres of beautiful woods.
My bedroom had a wood-burning fireplace in it, and overlooked the lake, stocked with large trout. There were riding and hiking trails - more than 80 miles of them.
This magnificent castle had been built in 1869 by two brothers, Alfred and Andrew Smiley. It is now operated as a National Historical Building, but when it was built it was the home for the rich and famous of American society.
As I wandered through the antique-laden halls and parlors, I read of the history of the place. As I walked down one of the long corridors, I read the captions under the dozens of old photos hanging on the walls. Many of the photos included handwritten inscriptions by the famous person shown - thanking the Smiley family for their hospitality.
There were pictures, many of them with autographs and personal annotations, from several US Presidents who had visited this famous resort, invited there by the Smiley Family.
There were many photographs of Justices of the US Supreme Court, as well as many Senators and Congressmen.
There were, also, many prominent businessmen, including old John D. Rockefeller, Sr., posing with his entire family.
In short, this large castle, built at very great expense, had been the home to many of the most famous people in America.
All of that was of only passing interest, but then I came to a photograph of the second Family Physician In Residence, Dr. Swift.
It seems that Dr. Swift was the physician who lived at the castle for almost his entire life. He was the "resident physician" from 1897 through 1934. He provided medical care for the Smiley family and any of their guests.
I guess if you are extremely rich, you might want to have your own personal doctor.
Now, hold on to that story, and jump back with me to the 1850's when a "Dr. William Avery
Rockefeller" toured the country offering to cure cancer.
According to a standard biographical study of William Rockefeller,
"he found a more promising career in patent medicine. He journeyed for hundreds of
miles to camp meetings, passing out handbills that read: 'Dr. William A. Rockefeller, the
Celebrated Cancer Specialist, Here for One Day Only. All Cases of Cancer Cured unless too
far gone and then they can be greatly benefited."' He sold his remedy for $25 a
bottle, the equivalent of two months' wages." ![]()
Dr. William Rockefeller, of course, was the not-so-famous father of old, John D. Rockefeller who, in the late 1800's had become one of the most despised men in the country. He hired a public relations expert to help him improvehis image.
But, clever as he was, he figured a way to improve his image and his pocket book at the same time.
He started giving millions of dollars in "donations" to medical schools to improve the quality of medical education. His concept of improved quality, of course, was that the medical school had to build, equip and use "modern" laboratories. These modern laboratories were, of course, completely oriented around the use of chemicals, drugs, as the standard for treatment.
In other words, it was John D. Rockefeller who financed the rise of allopathy - for allopathy treats diseases generally only by heavy doses of drugs which cause some sort of toxic effect on the body - an effect different from the symptom being treated.
And, the standard philosophy of allopathy is that when a small amount of drug doesn't do the job, then you should increase the dosage!
You see, now, the comparison with homeopathy. In homeopathy, when the substance "doesn't work" you would increase the DILUTION.
Homeopathy is built on the Law of the Infinitesimal Dose, the smaller the dose the more powerful it is.
Now, let's look again at Mr. John D. Rockefeller.
Rockefeller liked to make money. At age 41, he was quoted as saying, "I have ways of making money you know nothing of," and later attributed his money-making powers to a gift from God.
And make money he did but, his conscience notwithstanding, he became one of the most hated men in the country:
It was more than thirty years since he had begun his career, and Rockefeller was the central figure of the most spectacular success story in business history. The Standard was indisputably the most powerful industrial organization in the nation, and the most visible symbol of growing American might abroad. But for Rockefeller personally the price had been heavy: he had become identified with all the excesses the Standard had committed in its rise to power; hatred clung to him like iron filings to a magnet . . . Rockefeller had pursued his leviathan with complete dedication. But now he found himself lashed to its back as inextricably as Ahab, and in equal danger of being taken down for good.
Rockefeller was excoriated by the organs of public opinion, and was the target of numerous investigating committees. His fortune and holdings were growing faster than he could control or protect them. He needed a special assistant who could both polish up his public image and act as hatchetman in the consolidation of his far-flung business empire.
Rockefeller, a Baptist, had over the years given sums of money to various Baptist causes. By the late 1880's, the church elders felt bold enough to ask Rockefeller to contribute to the rebuilding of The University Of Chicago, a Baptist school founded in 1856 as the Morgan Park Theological Seminary. Acceding to their request, Rockefeller became immersed in the reconstruction of the university, giving to it in 1887 the then-huge sum of $600,000. It was during this involvement with the university that he met Frederick Taylor Gates, a Baptist minister who had previously worked for George A. Pillsbury, founder of the flour empire, in distributing Pillsbury's last philanthropies before his death.
Rockefeller was impressed by Gates' directness and by the manner in which he handled financial affairs. Constantly besieged by requests for money, Rockefeller asked Gates to work for him and take the burden of philanthropic decisions off his shoulders. Gates was soon handling all requests for Rockefeller money, and doing what he could to polish up the Rockefeller image. He also reorganized Rockefeller's ownership of the great Masabi ore deposits in Minnesota (which provided 60% of the nation's iron ore), buying out the stockholders of personal holdings which were in trouble, and eliminating unprofitable holdings from the Rockefeller portfolio.
Gates grew frantic, however, at the extent of Rockefeller's financial holdings, and of the threat they contained for Rockefeller: "Your fortune is rolling up, rolling up like an avalanche! You must distribute it faster than it grows! If you do not, it will crush you, and your children, and your children's children." As Gates later recalled:
I trembled as I witnessed the unreasoning popular resentment at Mr. Rockefeller's riches, to the mass of people, a national menace. It was not, however, the unreasoning public prejudice of his vast fortune that chiefly trouble me. Was it to be handed on to posterity as other great fortunes have been handed down by their possessors, with scandalous results to their descendants and powerful tendencies to social demoralization? I saw no other course but for Mr. Rockefeller and his son to form a series of great corporate philanthropies for forwarding civilization in all its elements in this land and all lands; philanthropies, if possible, limitless in time and amount, broad in scope, and self- perpetuating."
The game plan was simple: here was all this Rockefeller money, and here was Mr. Rockefeller being constantly badgered, scrutinized, and hauled into court; why not set up a monopoly on sums from the fortunes of Rockefeller and other industrial barons, and distribute the money in a way guaranteed to ensure Mr. Rockefeller the respect and admiration of those elements of society which had castigated him most? In other words, it was time to launder the money.
The creation and funding of the University of Chicago had done
much to enhance Rockefeller's public relations profile among Baptists and educators.
Educational philanthropy, since it was paying off in good publicity, might be the way to
go, ![]()
The Man Who Takes Without Exchanging?
I tell you that when a person accepts welfare, he becomes a slave to the donor.
Currently it is the health insurance industry that seems to be giving health care to its customers, and many of them regard that health care as "free." They are, of course, slaves to the system, and the system is corrupt.
But all this started a mere 100 years ago, with Rockefeller!
Rockefeller enslaved much of the known world,
using his stolen money to buy whole institutions into slavery. You are less free, today,
because Rockefeller gave a few paltry millions to schools, including medical schools. His
"gifts" had such terrible strings attached that we are still suffering from him
and them. ![]()
The Rockefeller story goes on to describe how Mr. Gates started giving money to universities involved in teaching teachers, and thus destroyed the very foundation of the American educational system
Today's evils in education derive their origin
directly from millions of dollars given away by Mr. Rockefeller to ensure that the
theories of one Dr. Wundt, of Germany, would prevail over truth. This was the rise of an
educational system based on the concept that man was an animal and needed to be trained,
not taught.![]()
That story will be for another day, but just as Mr. Gates ruined American education with Rockefeller money and Rockefeller interests at heart, he also destroyed the most common form of medial education that existed in those days.
During the late 1800's, and on into the early 1900's, homeopathy was the predominant philosophy of treatment, with more than 22,000 physicians.
Rockefeller money was given to medical schools on the condition that they would build "modern" laboratories, and start teaching chemical medicine - in other words, drugs." Before long 22 schools of homeopathy closed their doors.
You see, Rockefeller seemed to be making his money in "oil," but he realized that a penny's worth of oil could be turned into a thousand dollar's worth of medical drugs. Rockefeller gave away millions of his stolen dollars to introduce chemical, drug oriented allopathic medicine into America.
American science went in a slightly
different direction, emphasizing rewards rather than punishments, but both the Russian and
the American model considered man as an animal, without a soul, and thus it was OK to
treat him as an inferior to the elite - today's liberals are a pale shadow of the earlier
evils, but the cumulative effect of all these evils is a sick society. ![]()
Yet, Mr. Rockefeller had a personal physician, always, and you must guess, by now, that his personal physician was a homeopathist.
Finally, back to my visit to the Mohonk Mountain House! Dr. Swift, the second family physician to be resident at that enormous castle retreat, was a homeopathist!
The Smiley family, as most of all the very rich families, even up to the 1930's, did not use allopathic treatments. They continued to use homeopathy even while their philanthropic donations utterly destroyed homeopathy.
When I was born, in 1931, my doctor was an allopath, who would have treated me with deadly toxic drugs, had I needed treatment. Yet, at that very same year, the rich and old families of the United States, those who had personal physicians in residence, did NOT use allopathic doctors, but used, instead, homeopathy.
So, as I walked down the halls of Mohonk Mountain House, I saw this almost trivial photograph. It was one among dozens. The caption would have meant nothing to the many thousands of other people who have wandered down those halls. Most of them probably wouldn't even realize that they didn't understand the word, homeopathy.
Most of those tourists are now stuck with toxic drugs for their medical problems - and
And so do the sins of the fathers, finally, visit unto the seventh generation
Old John D. Rockefeller knew that the toxic drugs he unleashed on the American public were not what HE wanted for his personal treatments, but he also knew that the millions he would give away, as donations, would come back to him in billions of new profits from the many drug companies which he controlled - drug companies which take a penny's worth of petroleum, and turn it into a thousand dollars' worth of Prozac!
Now, have I come full circle? I've described homeopathy, and how it was utterly destroyed by one man - the original drug king, Mr. John D. Rockefeller, Sr.
What I haven't described, yet, are some remarkable products where the homeopathic principal seems to be alive and well.
There is a remarkable liquid trace mineral product I've been using for many years. Recently a well respected German scientist conducted research tests on this product. He found that it provided more usable nutrition than the best formula he had previously found. He found that the minerals, even when the original nutrients were reduced by 90%, provided an improvement in vitality.
It was Dr. Fitz-Albert Popp, biophysicist of Germany who did these tests.
It's worth spending some time and space here.
All living organisms emit certain electromagnetic waves. If they are in a healthy condition, they emit more. When a living organism dies, the emissions drop down to the emission characteristics of the individual elements. When the cell is not yet dead, but is sick, it emits less. This phenomena is common to all forms of cells. The electromagnetic emission is called bio-photons.
This is an area of medicine, sometimes called vibrational
medicine," but very much ahead of orthodox medical research. ![]()
In order to test the nutritive value of various vitamin supplements,
foods, minerals, etc., one particular living cell has been found which can be used - it's
a very sensitive algae which grows in the Mediterranean Sea. ![]()
It is often true that great scientific achievements are based on a new
method of measuring something! In this case, Dr. Popp invented this measuring system and
was nominated for a Nobel Prize on the basis of the invention.![]()
This measuring technique is widely used, and accepted in Germany and other countries, as an accurate way of evaluating various food or vitamin or mineral ingredients.
You take some of the algae, with their "standard" nutrient solution, and introduce some change:
The test conducted on the liquid trace minerals is available by writing to me. Dr. Popp obtained, first, a reference set of measurements on a sample from one batch of the algae. Using this gave him the benchmark for comparing the energy pattern of other substances used as "food" by the same batch of algae.
He then tested the algae using only 10% of the standard nutrient solution for their food. In these tests, the energy pattern was much lower than when 100% of the standard food solution was used.
THEN, he took that 10% standard food solution and added some of the liquid trace minerals. Amazingly, the energy emissions increased so that they were GREATER than when the 100% standard solution had been used.
Note that these liquid trace minerals are in a natural colloidal form. Minerals can be found in three basic forms, as far as supplements are concerned:
This was amazing to Dr. Popp because he had sought to find the optimum vitamin and nutrient combination to use as his standard for all testing. In this case, he could reduce the nutrient solution to only 10% of the standard amount, add some trace minerals, and achieve a HIGHER STANDARD.
That, however, was not the end of the amazement. Dr. Popp then repeated this experiment, but this time he placed only one tenth as much of the minerals into the solution which fed the algae.
Get this, the algae had only 10% of the standard nutrient solution, and now had only 10% of the mineral addition which had just previously been tested.
In this final test, with only 10% of the liquid minerals of the previous test, the energy emissions of the algae INCREASED.
Here was proof that less was better!
These tests also measured the change in emissions over a three day period when no additional nutrients (or minerals) were provided.
In all cases there was less energy emission from the algae on the third day, but the energy emission on the third day, for the greatly diluted trace minerals, had decreased only slightly and was far better than when the 100% vitamin solution was used.
The conclusions of the research scientist was that the efficacy of the
standard nutrient solution was greatly enhanced by the addition of the trace minerals. ![]()
It seems fair to say that a homeopathic quantity (very tiny) of the PROPER trace minerals can greatly reduce the need for the massive quantities of food which people (and cells) seem to otherwise require.
Then, in an amazing test, he found that the benefit was INCREASED when
the quantity of minerals was made SMALLER. Write to me to get the full research report. ![]()
Do you wonder why results like these have not been more widely known? Well, here's another story you won't hear elsewhere.
We now go back to 1936 to find the Rockefeller Foundation being mixed up with suppressing all knowledge about colloidal chemistry:
Colloidal Chemistry
A group of executives sat tense and silent in an office in the RCA Building in New York City. They stared with incredulous eyes at a purple orchid. A short time, before, it had been rescued from a pile of debris, a withered, yellowish thing, dead. Now the petals were fresh and crisp, its colors vivid. It was blooming with new life, and would continue to do so for 16 or 17 days!
Dr. Frederick S. Macy, one of the country's outstanding bacteriologists, had added a teaspoonful of an amber-tinted liquid to the quart of water in the bottle which held the flower. There was striking indication of the mysteries that lie ahead in that comparatively unexplored realm of science known as colloidal chemistry. It was one of innumerable experiments these gentlemen had been witnessing for a year or more, on behalf of their internationally known pharmaceutical company.
A few days later they signed an 18-year con- tract for the rights to a solution similar to the one in Dr. Macy's bottle. They will invest more than $2,000,000 a year in it from now on.
To gain a working conception of what colloidal chemistry is, consider that living tissues and organs are simply great masses of cells - billions of them. The energy, the very life-force of these cells, is obtained from certain minerals and metals, among them iron, iodine, manganese, copper. There are some 32, with traces of many others, in the human body. Colloidal Chemistry is the science which converts those elements into particles so minute that they can be utilized by living cells.
Normally, nature supplies the cells with these elements in their colloidal form. Science has now learned to produce these colloids in the laboratory. "Lately, life has been prolonged by colloid action," says Dr. Macy, "and better knowledge of the subject will certainly result in prolonging the normal term of existence." In the case of the apparently dead orchid, copper in colloidal form was needed to restore the proper balance of the mineral and metals that comprised the life cells of the flower. Once that balance was restored, the cells began to function and the orchid lived again.
REMEMBER THIS DATA COMES FROM 1936!!!
In the Colloidal Laboratories of America they have a motion picture which is as weird as any-thing ever shown on a screen - a movie of a headache. The actors are the nerves in a human head, magnified millions of times. You see the headache. Those nerve endings are tangled, twisting, writhing. Then you see the colloids enter. These rescuers, smaller than the blood corpuscles themselves, march straight to the spot where there is an unbalance of the vital metals. You see those laboratory-prepared colloids restore normalcy there at the seat of the trouble. Then you see the nerves cease their twisting, relax, and assume their proper position.
Dr. Steinmetz, the wizard of electricity, devised a method of utilizing colloids in the treatment of sinus trouble. The Bide-a-Wee Home, New York's famous hospital for cats and dogs, can cure mange in three days, where it used to take three months. A large Mid-western city was freed from the scourge of goiter when colloidal iodine was added to the water supply. A famous institution for the treatment of alcoholism is experimenting with a colloidal solution which apparently not only overcomes the effects of excessive drinking but removes the craving for liquor as well.
Such treatment consists of the introduction of metals - gold and iodine, in the case of alcoholism - which correct the unbalance caused by alcoholic poisons.
The effect of colloids is explainable in part by electric action. Sick and dead and broken-down cells are attracted to the colloids by electromagnetic force, as iron filings are attracted to a magnet. The colloids carry those decayed or poisonous substances into the blood stream, and they are eliminated, the system meanwhile adapting what it needs of the colloids.
A simple illustration will suggest the immense powers that are being unsealed.
Suppose we have a cube of iron measuring an inch on each edge. The total surface would be six square inches. The electrical charge is on the surface; therefore, the greater the surface the greater the charge; and if we divide the cube of iron into small pieces we increase the surface areas. By colloidal chemistry that iron cube can be divided into particles so minute that they are invisible, hence instead of six square inches of surface emanating electric energy, we have something like 127 acres.
In colloidal form iodine, for example, is one of the elements essential to the well-being of human cells. Yet if you should drink as much as two or three grains of free iodine, it would kill you. Dr. Macy, when explaining this, held up an eight- ounce cup full of colloidal iodine. "There," he said, "is the equivalent of 740 grains of free iodine - enough to kill 300 men." And he drank it. In that form iodine is not only harmless but beneficial. The same is true of arsenic and other deadly poisons.
Colloidal chemistry was evolved by David Graham, a British chemist, 50 years ago, but only recently has it been realized even by scientists what an enormous influence it is destined to have in medicine, agriculture, industry. "We have television now," one of the world's greatest scholars said recently. "There is, as I see it, just one great development left for our time. That is in the understanding of colloidal metals. It is the 'Fourth Estate of Matter,' the other three being land, water, and air."
Says Dr. Macy: "The study of these phenomena constitutes the road to the ultimate in human knowledge."
All we can say, having read this Reader's Digest article from 1936, is that some drug company, meeting under the auspices of the Rockefeller Foundation, thinks colloidal chemistry is worthy of a very great deal of money (in today's terms, the $2,000,000 yearly would be probably $1 00,000,000 per year).
Have you even heard the first word of research results from this?
No! And, you won't. Even if drug companies can manufacture artificial colloidal particles in their laboratories, nature is doing it constantly.
Every time you eat any vegetable or fruit, you are getting
colloidal minerals. Plants can't live without getting the minerals from the ground. They
get those minerals by the process of living organisms in the soil which convert metallic
minerals, in the soil, into colloidal minerals which the plants can then absorb through
their roots, up into the plant leaves and fruits where you, eventually, eat them. Nature
is full of colloidal minerals, as long as the soil contains metallic minerals.![]()
Colloidal minerals have been shown to increase the body's utilization
of existing nutrients by 86%.
If
the drug companies tried to patent, and sell, the artificial type, people would wake up to
the fact that this type of minerals should be available, free, in their vegetables. Then
they would discover that while their vegetables COULD have these minerals in them, they
don't because the soil doesn't. It could be very easy to get those minerals BACK into the
soil on our farms, but it can't happen with the terrible artificial fertilizers being used
today.
Then, by golly, people might raising a political stink to get their land started back into productive condition.
In the meantime, you can get these colloidal minerals in only a few places on earth, and they are in natural form, not produced from some drug company.
AND, the information which I'll send you, if you wish it, describes two different sources of colloidal minerals (liquid trace minerals and algae) which are both natural, and cannot be suppressed by the chemical industry.
Just as I know of a source of liquid trace minerals in colloidal form, there is a special strain of blue green algae which grows naturally in Oregon, and which I've learned about in the past few months. This algae has ALL the trace minerals and has the additional advantage that it is a whole food, on a planet which has very little nutritious components remaining!
I have, for instance, a full research report, and set of color photographs, of the energy emissions of three common types of algae:
These tests point up the tremendous difference in different types of algae. The Chlorella and Spirulina are grown in man-made lakes where the nutrients must be added to the water.
Even if the producers were to understand the importance of ALL the trace minerals for living organisms, it would be very difficult to find an economical source of ALL the minerals, in the proper proportion, and bring those to the man- made ponds where these algae are grown.
These first two types of algae emitted much less of the energy being tested than the third form of algae, the blue green algae grown under natural conditions in Oregon. The lake where these algae live is fed from streams and run-off from a 4,000 square mile basin of mountains and the lake itself has a 34 foot deep layer of sediment from millions of years of minerals pouring into it. The mineral content of this lake is unparalleled on the planet. When the algae from this source are properly harvested and processed, tests of their energy patterns show amazing vitality.
Just as the liquid trace mineral was tested with a scientific procedure, the blue green algae has been tested, and compared with spirulina and chlorella, using something called the Opto-Crystallization Pattern technique.
Again, very small amounts of these mineral- rich algae can and do produce very large effects.
You can guess that the Allopaths fight these substances, just as they were programmed to do by old John D. Rockefeller.
I''m now in the process of erasing that old opinion I used to have, that more is always better. These firmly held opinions are so ingrained that you think of them as your own. Often they are nothing more than implanted ideas which you received at a moment of weakness. It's not unusual for a doctor to give all sorts of advice to sick people. When they are sick they are generally NOT in a position to resist the lecture, and so take in false data which then becomes "true data" for them.
You need to root it out.
Look for situations and substances where small is good!
STUNNING POINT
I've developed the theme in this Viewpoint that homeopathy is a more honest approach to health care than is allopathy. That theme could certainly be developed far more thoroughly, particularly by recounting some of the horrors of allopathic drugs.
But, after taking you down this garden path, I'm now springing a surprise on you.
As I've been researching and thinking about the Four Roads To Ruin, my major work of the current period, I started with the idea that there were only two "roads," that of toxins and deficiencies. But, in both of those cases I realized that it was lies and misinformation ABOUT toxins and deficiencies that were the place to start. Then I added in the concept of the GREAT lie that material substances could be the senior treatment system - I acknowledged that mental and spiritual factors were always senior to the material.
So, finally, the book (in cassette and written form) evolved to Four Roads To Ruin, Your Health In The Twenty-First Century - four roads to ruin, the first of which would be lies and misinformation.
Now, just as I was researching the material for this issue of Viewpoint, I realized what I consider the number one lie in the field of health care.
It will certainly be developed much more thoroughly in other issues of Viewpoint, but let me place it on the record here and now.
The terrible trouble with both homeopathy and allopathy is that they start with an observation of a diseased condition, and try to eliminate the disease.
The wellness we seek will not depend on putting attention on disease, but by putting attention on wellness.
It is far more important to study what it takes to create a healthy body then it is to study what makes a body sick!
Finally, the homeopathic aspects of the liquid trace minerals and the blue green algae can be seen in their proper perspective.
The trace minerals and the blue green algae are FOODS which promote a healthy body. They may also "cure" some disease, but that is NOT their primary function. These are some of the components of healthy living, in a world where such substances are in very, very, very short supply.
Put your attention on the trace minerals, and upon the algae, as sources of food, as sources of nourishment for the cells. Cells will get healthy, and in the process shed sickness. Keep your attention on improving health, not ridding yourself of disease.
The big lie of health care is that you can achieve "health" by putting your attention on disease. It can't be done!

. Homeopathy has been properly described as
an art rather than a science because of the great intuition or insight needed by the
doctor in getting the exact symptoms. There would be, for instance, dozens of different
types of "headaches," and the doctor would have to quiz the patient patiently
and at length, trying to get the exact set of specifications. Failures in homeopathy have
generally been laid to the doctor not getting the exact symptom to handle. I don't think
of homeopathy as a "science" because of this, but the principle seems to work,
and suggests that the direction this system moves in is more productive than the direction
of allopathy!
. The ever increasing search for improvement
has led homeopathic doctors to realize that they have to take into account, as symptoms,
the emotional and spiritual state of the patient. Thus, they have, at least honestly, gone
full circle to the realization that mental and spiritual factors ARE senior to physical.
The final failure of homeopathy, as well as allopathy comes, simply, from the failure of
each of them to deal adequately with mental and spiritual factors - or the attempt to
treat these factors with material substances,
Note that the traditional view of smallpox is that it is caused by a virus. I don't accept
that something which is dead can be cause, but have not yet researched into this
particular claim. I present it here, as it is generally accepted. I presume that further
research would reveal that the virus" is actually "sucked in" by a cell,
and thus that the cell is the cause, using the virus as a self-administered toxin.
Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, lived during
1755-1843, in Germany, and developed the concept of homeopathy, and also invented the term
allopathy to describe all other medical doctors who used treatment systems different from
his own system. Allopathy doctors have generally always disliked the term, allopath, even
100+ years ago when Henry Rogers wrote: Neither does it seem quite fair of Hahnemann to
charge all other practitioners with uniformly proceeding on some one opposite principle,
as allopathy or antipathy; for neither "homeopathy" nor "allopathy"
was ever heard of till he chose to invent the terms, and taking one himself, gave the
other to all the rest of the medical world. [Greyson letters, letter lxxi, p. 314, quoted
in the dictionary reference next following.]
Standard Dictionary of the English
Language, published in 1894 by Funk & Wagnalls Company.
The vigorous shaking is an important part of the process of manufacturing a homeopathic
remedy. It is essential NOT just to mix the materials, but apparently to convey some
pattern or "image" from the substance to the water molecules. Thus one theory is
that the water molecules "absorb" and retain some "memory" of the
electrical characteristic of the substance put into the water. Thus, the shaking is part
of the process of making the remedy, not just the simply dilution process.
This is an allergy-related phenomenon. When
a particular kind of antibody encounters a human basophil, a binds to a receptor on the
"degranulation": histamine- the basophil release their medium. Degranulation can
be with standard staining procedures. The above is quoted from Scientific
American, September 1988, v259, n3 p10(2).
A related article in East West, February 1989, vl9, n2, p42(6) gives a full account suitable for this newsletter: The experiment that provoked all this controversy, "Human basophil degranulation triggered by very dilute antiserum against IgE," was actually relatively simple. Benveniste and co-workers (a dozen other scientists shared authorship of the Nature study experimented with a type of white blood cell called basophils. Basophils carry on their surface certain antibodies, irnmunoglobin E (IgE). When the IgE antibodies are exposed to the anti-IgE antibodies, the basophils release the chemical histamine, which plays an important role in human allergic response. Histamine is stored in the form of granules within the basophils, so when the histamine is released the basophils are said to "degranulate." Since degranulated basophils respond to certain chemical stains differently, this whole process can be monitored and measured in the lab.
Benveniste and colleagues took this routine experiment and added a twist. They diluted the solutions containing the anti-IgE antibodies over and over again, in the same way that homeopathic remedies are prepared. At a point in any such series of dilution, it is possible to know that there is no longer even a single molecule left of the substance, in this case anti-IgE antibodies, in the solution. The experimenters went well past this point. According to the laws of physics and chemistry as they've been outlined for the past few centuries, without any anti-IgE antibodies left there should be no possibility for reaction, degranulation, etc. Yet in repeated trials Benveniste et al. Found biological activity. It was as if a ghost of the anti-IgE antibodies, some kind of memory in the water, were reacting with the IgE and causing the basophils to degranulate. The researchers own cautious explanation for their finding was that "water could act as a 'template' ... for example by an infinite hydrogen-bonded network, or electric and magnetic fields," but that ultimately "the precise nature of this phenomenon remains unexplained."
The distinguished Italian physicist Emilio
del Giundici has set forth a theory that helps explain homeopathy's mode of therapeutic
action. Del Giudici proposed that water molecules form structures capable of storing
minute electromagnetic signals. This proposition is given added weight by the findings of
Dr. Wolfgang Ludwig, a German biophysicist, who has demonstrated in preliminary research
that homeopathic substances give off measurable electromagnetic signals. These signals
show that specific frequencies are dominate in each homeopathic substance.
If del Giudicis model is accurate, a homeopathic remedy may convey an electromagnetic "message" to the body that matches the specific electromagnetic frequency or pattern of an illness in order to stimulate the bodys natural healing response. What Dr. Hahnemann may have been doing in his empirical research was unwittingly "matching the frequencies of the plant extract with the frequency of the [patients] illness." All of the above quoted from Alternative Medicine, compiled by the Burton Goldburg Group, copyright 1993.
. Quoted from The Cancer Industry
by Ralph W. Moss, published in 1991 by Paragon House, New York.
This entire quotation is taken from The
Leipzig Connection by Paolo Lionni, published by Delphian Press in 1988. This Book
primarily describes how John D. Rockefeller, single-handedly destroyed American education.
In a very similar fashion, John D. Rockefeller destroyed the entire practice and science
of homeopathy.
The particular source of information about John D. Rockefeller is quoted, in the above work, as from Allan Nevins' Study In Power: John D. Rockefeller, Industrialist and Philanthropist, 2 vols., New York, Charles Scribner's Sons, 1953.
Quoted from within The Leipzig
Connection, as taken from Collier, Peter, and David Horowitz, The
Rockefellers.- An American Dynasty (New York: New American Library,
1976). Ahab refers to the fiction story of the ship captain
pursuing the great whale.
Quoted in The Leipzig Connection,
as coming from the same American Dynasty source.
Medical education was destroyed, but
the larger issue is, of course, that the entire educational system was destroyed by
Rockefeller, implementing the ideas of Dr. Wundt. The path is from Wundt, who said that
man is an animal, to the German Bismarck who justified killing Jews because they were
undesirable, to modern day psychiatry which teaches amorality.
The whole story can be told another
day, but the final outcome of these evils is well portrayed in a new book by David Sacks
and Peter Thiel, The Diversity Myth, to be published in November,
1995, by the Independent Institute in Oakland, California. They describe, in their book,
how university education is being trivialized. For instance, Stanford University is
normally rated one of the top five colleges in America, but many of the courses in that
"great" university teach antipathy for Western values. For instance, in "Cultures,
Ideas and Values," a course taught at Stanford, the freshman requirement
that replaced Western Culture, students compare the U.S. Bill of Rights with Lee Iacocca's
Car Buyer Bill of Rights.
Another course asks students to look at Jesus Christ as a homosexual. Another course has students writing letters to their parents (but not necessarily sending them) AS IF they had been gay all their lives and are now finally admitting it to their parents. This is called creative writing.
These motifs have been combined in an end-of-the-quarter skit in which students dress in Roman togas and depict European Imperialism in the New World.
Neither Western values or Western History are being taught in many of todays schools. Instead, the student is taught that the source of his problems is outside his own sphere of influence. As health consumers, we have come to believe the same that we MUST see a doctor to handle disease. Better, would it not be, for each of us to LEARN how we can improve and maintain wellness. That is the focus of Anabiology, the science of restoration from a death-like condition to a previous state of wellness.
One of the most false voices of lies in America is Consumer's Reports. In the issue of January, 1987, CR puts out the false information that homeopathy died a natural death in the face of modern medicine. This is often done in the media controlled by the elitists. They hide the past, and hide the source of problems. The result is that we can no longer learn from the past, because it is gone or presented falsely.
Vibrational Medicine concerns itself with
the vibrations of atoms, molecules, various substances and even organs. Generally the term
'vibration' can include a whole range such as light or electromagnetic or other types of
vibrations. Science is even discovering types of "vibrations" for which we don't
yet have common names!
The algae has the technical name of acetabulatia
mediterranea. This algae is so sensitive to toxins and lack of proper
nutrition that there is very little remaining in nature.
The energy wavelengths being measured
are in the 400 to 680 nano meter range. Nobel Prizes have, for instance, been awarded for
developing very sophisticated techniques of observing reactions that last one millionth of
a second. Dr. George A. Olah, University of Southern California, received the Nobel Prize
in Chemistry in 1994 for 'studies of fleeting hydrocarbon reactions.'
A detailed description of colloidal
minerals is included in the Book, Life Flow One, The
Solution For Heart Disease. Increasingly more scientists are
"discovering" that colloids exist. Amazingly, more than 60 years ago Rockefeller
interests paid to suppress all the then-existing research on colloidal chemistry. It is
hardly taught anymore, even though it IS the chemistry of living plants!
Dr. Fitz-Albert Popp wrote up his
research findings in German, addressed to Dr. Gottfried Lange of Elmshom, Germany, in a
letter dated January 18, 1992. Dr. Lange has provided an English translation of the
research findings. Both the original German language report, and Dr. Langes
translation are available from Karl Loren, by writing for them.
